Providence & Worcester train NR-2 crosses the Thames River on a foggy morning
A southbound CSX freight rolls through Fort Montgomery, NY along the Hudson River
On January 6, 2008 the Providence & Worcester Railroad ran the newest job - symbol NR-4 - between Plainfield and Willimantic, CT. The train would handle customers on the Willimantic Branch, along with the interchagne traffic with the New England Central Railroad. Here NR-4 pauses in Willimantic yard so the crew can swap ends for the return trip back to Plainfield.
